Most states regulate on the basis of a 3:2 payout on blackjack (i.e. if you bet $10 and win, the casino pays $15). In Colorado, operators have applied for an increase in table odds to 6:5 (i.e. a winning $10 bet pays out only $12). For those of you who like the math, this lifts the house edge from 1.5% to 2.9%. Look at a projector
If you have access to a projector, you can show your output to your portable projector. Most laptops have an external port for connecting an external monitor (or projector). The projector has a monitor cable that connects directly to this port.

Each laptop manufacturer has a different method to turn the external monitor, so you need to read the manual or figure out the symbols drawn on your keyboard. Insert clipart Slides

It's really easy to copy and paste text from other programs into PowerPoint.
For example, you can have a written document in Microsoft Word and you want to put this information in PowerPoint. Sometimes it's easier to write in Word, especially when writing long presentations.

Example of good use of font

The pre-installed PowerPoint templates are already pre-configured with a font color and style. However, these default fonts are not always perfect and often have to be changed. This is especially true title slides.
Here's a real world example of how to change my source genuinely hot properties of this presentation: This is a title slide of the template. O.K. seems, but not quite what I like.

To improve this slide, I changed some properties. I did the first title of largest source, and the sub-title of the smaller font. Then change the font on an "impact" and the subtitle "Arial Narrow". Finally, the text was moved to the location of the word-aligned edges better.

This new title is much better, and all you need is the basic source property changes!

How to change the text and fonts

You can format text in PowerPoint as in a word processing program. In fact, it works like Microsoft Word PowerPoint. And, as in Word, you can change the properties of the light source for high text and click the buttons on the toolbar.

Entering text in a PowerPoint slide

We add text to our slides, but we are going to go a little more detail, because the text is important. After all, the words on the slide is how to get your message across! The traditional (old) Way
1. One way to rearrange the slides is done through the "slide sorter view." At the bottom of the scheme that there is a small button. Clicking on this button will lead to the "slide sorter view." This view is useful because it gives large thumbnails of the slides that you can grab and move. You can switch back to "normal" by clicking the little "Normal View" button. You can also switch between these views from the top menu and click [View - SlideSorter]

The "new and improved" Way
An easier way to move the slides (PowerPoint 2002) is simply use the "details of slides." Take the submission in question and move up and down. This is how I prefer to reorder slides - I just go into the "Slide Sorter official" when the reordering of photo albums or adding fancy effects, such as transitions and animations (we'll talk about these videos in the future).

Changing Properties in PowerPoint slides

Using the "Outline View in PowerPoint"

There is another way, however, and its so-called "outline view" tab. Click on this tab (located on the left side of the screen) and you will see a summary of all the text in your presentation. You can write and edit text in the panel of this scheme and that magically appears on the slide.

Writing in the outline view, the text will appear in the title area of the current slide. When you press the Enter key, you'll create a new slide and can start writing again. This is the hard part.

To add text to the other areas of the slide (ie the main text area) that have to learn to promote and demote text. Write a text in the outline, and then go to the top toolbar and find the "dash" buttons.

By clicking on them, its outline text moves on to become one of the titles ..., bulleted text, or sub-bulleted text. Try it! Personally, I do not think that the schedule to do all useful. It is much easier to write on the screen. However, some people seem to really like seeing the scheme as they can write up a very fast with this method. Save PowerPoint Show

But how do you start?

There are a couple of approaches that might take, depending on your temperament and design skills. You can go and start typing text, add background colors, and experiment with your font colors and styles.

(not recommended) You can use a pre-configured template. Unless there are major design skills, I recommend the creation of its first submission using a pre-made template.

Microsoft has done a favor ... We have hired a team of artists and graphic designers, people with experience with color schemes and typography, the design of a large collection of "template" styles.

These templates come with backgrounds, images, and pre-chosen fonts and colors. The quality of these pre-installed templates is quite good, though some may require a bit of "adjustment" to look perfect.

If you are not satisfied with the default templates, you can also find free templates online. There are also many websites out there selling professional-looking templates. There are a couple of ways to implement a template.

The first time you open a blank PowerPoint presentation, go to the task pane and select a template. If you can not find the template in the Task Pane, go to the File menu and click [Format - Slide Design]

When you click the thumbnail template, the style is applied to the slide. In fact, the template changes all your slides. If you only want to change the current slide, click the small arrow button to the right of staff and elected [apply to selected slides].

I recommend using a template in the design of its first site. In fact, "always" use of templates, as this is the easiest way to make your PowerPoint show look professional. If you change your mind later, it is always easy to switch to another plan!

After you open PowerPoint, there are a couple of important aspects of the interface to consider. There are, of course, the traditional menu bar.

Below these are several rows of toolbars that contains buttons for common functions that you might need ... how to change fonts and paragraph alignment.

If your toolbar is different than mine, do not worry. You can change the toolbars that are going to the menu bar and click [View - Toolbars]. Here you can put together the little control of the tools you want to see.

The task pane is a new feature in 2002 and was created to make the design process more logical. The task pane has all the actions that you might need to design your site ... the creation of new projects, new slides, and new templates. We will be using this task pane often. If you do not see the task pane (that is, that is working on versions of PowerPoint), no fear. All functions in the task pane can be found by searching through the menu bar at the top of the screen. Only you can take more time to find the function you need.

At the bottom of the screen is another ... toolbar fun "Drawing toolbar. Let's ignore it for now, but in the second half of the course, we will make some great designs and shapes using the drawing tools located here.
